Home Office Furniture

Those of you who work in a home office will need much the same furniture as those who work in a more traditional environment. An appropriately sized desk, comfortable chair, filing cabinet and perhaps an extra chair for guests are all good basics to have.

Because most work from home involves a computer and telephone, your home office furniture should be ergonomic so as to reduce the risk of repetitive motion injuries. You should be within easy reach of your keyboard, and not be too low or high in your chair.

You will have more freedom choosing your home office furniture than when choosing furniture for a traditional office. You can be creative with colours and styles at home and truly make your home office your own. With traditional office furniture, you must respect the style of the entire office.
